Snow Days Chicago
Snow Days Chicago is an annual winter celebration. Featuring snow sculpting, dog sled demonstrations and a “snowboard rail jam,” this family event is held at Navy Pier.

Chinese New Year Parade
Beginning on 24th Street and traveling down Wentworth Avenue to Cermak Road, the 2019 parade celebrated the Year of the Sheep. Don’t miss the marching bands, floats and dance teams.

Chicago Flower & Garden Show
Gardening enthusiasts will be treated to the sights, scents and sounds of blooming perennials, annuals and trees at Chicago’s acclaimed Navy Pier.

St. Patrick’s Day
No one does St. Patrick’s Day quite like Chicago. Head downtown to catch the parade and river-dying the weekend before the holiday then continue celebrating
at one of Chicago’s Irish pubs.

Streeterville Chamber Annual Meeting
The Chamber hosts an annual meeting to celebrate the success stories of our members and share the accomplishments and achievements of the past year. Welcome new Chamber board members and look ahead to the coming year.

Art Chicago
Art Chicago is an annual international fair of contemporary and modern art, bringing together the world’s leading, emerging and established galleries at the Merchandise Mart.

Chicago farmers markets
Chicago’s farmers markets feature more than 70 vendors selling fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and prepared foods to more than 20 neighborhoods throughout the City of Chicago. Markets are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays around the city.

Chicago Blues Festival
As the largest free blues festival in the world, the Chicago Blues Festival unites more than 500,000 blues fans earning the nickname, “Blues Capital of the World.” Head down to Grant Park for an afternoon or all three days. Past performers include Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy and the late great B.B. King, and Otis Clay.

Chicago Summer Dance
Presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, this 11-week festival features a different type of dance each week from. Themes include salsa, swing and waltz. A professional instructor teaches an hour-long lesson then two hours of dancing follow on the open-air floor in Grant Park.

Independence Day Celebration
Watch fireworks light up the sky at Navy Pier to celebrate Independence Day with your family and friends. While at Navy Pier enjoy the beautiful lake views and attractions: Ferris wheel, boat cruises, Imax theater, Shakespeare Theater, and enjoy some of the best restaurants including Riva, Bubba Gump Shrimp, McDonald’s, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Billy Goat Tavern, Harry Carey’s and the Navy Pier beer garden.

Taste of Chicago
Take a bite out the largest food festival in the city. 2019 marks the 39th anniversary of this Chicago summer staple boasting more than 300 menu items from 70 different vendors.

Lollapalooza
A summer music festival favorite. This three-day extravaganza includes today’s top artists in pop, hip-hop, dance, heavy metal, alternative and punk rock music.

Air & Water Show
Watch the Blue Angels soar through the sky from Fullerton Avenue to Oak Street Beach. The focal point of the show will be North Avenue Beach. Presented by the City of Chicago.

Streeterville Summer Breeze Soirée
The Streeterville Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Summer Soiree, where business members have the opportunity to mix and mingle, and partake in a silent auction and raffle. If weather permits, enjoy the views from a beautiful terrace.

Chicago Jazz Festival
Participate in one of Chicago’s longest-standing traditions. Appropriate for audiences of all ages, this Labor Day weekend event features a wide variety of musicians. Programmed by the Jazz Institute and held in Millennium Park.

Bank of America Chicago Marathon
Experience Chicago like never before by looping 26.2 miles through the city’s rich neighborhoods or cheering on the runners who do in the 42nd annual Chicago Marathon.

The BMO Harris Bank Magnificent Mile Lights Festival
Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season by watching the trees of Michigan Avenue, from Oak Street to Wacker Drive, all lit up at once at the BMO
Harris Bank Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. The nation’s largest evening holiday celebration promises a full day of fun, including family-friendly activities
in Lights Festival Lane, rockin’ concerts by top muscial artists on the BMO Harris Bank Stage, a grand tree-lighting parade marshaled by Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse, a Fireworks Spectacular show over the Chicago River and the best holiday shopping on the Mag Mile.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
It’s the 106th year of the annual Chicago municipal tree-lighting. Come to the Daley Plaza to watch the lighting, listen to musical performances and start your shopping at the Christ kind market next door.

Streeterville Holiday Soirée
Meet and mingle with Streeterville Chamber of Commerce business members to enjoy a festive evening with entertainment and great conversations. Unwind as the year ends and prepare for the holiday season. Bid on some wonderful holiday gifts. This annual soiree is hosted by the Streeterville Chamber of Commerce.
