With more than 15,000 square-feet of merchandise, visitors to the The Foundry Mall, Ridgeland’s newest specialty vendor mall, will discover an array of antiques, vintage items, hand painted and repurposed furniture, home décor, clothing, jewelry, accessories and fragrances. That’s on top of collectibles, like metal advertising signs, Mississippi memorabilia, bottles, jars, coins and books.

Shoppers also will find new and vintage fashion apparel, and pottery and paintings by local artists. Also included are specialty food products, freshly prepared breads and sweets, brand-name infant and children’s items, including toys, clothing and shoes, as well as gifts, new, vintage and antique. Visitors also can enjoy food tastings, vendor introductions and seasonal themes.

“The Foundry Mall opened in May 2016 with an eye to providing shoppers an unique experience whether they are visiting the mall for the first time or they are regular Foundry shoppers,” said James Briggs, The Foundry Mall manager. “There’s always new merchandise and an array of goods including everything from antiques to specialty food products – all freshly prepared breads and sweets – tastefully displayed for a shopping adventure.”

Foundry vendor Gail Terri, owner of Lucy Ruth’s Attic, called the mall “a little hidden jewel” that probably won’t remain hidden for long with continued marketing, word of mouth and social media. “Once shoppers come in, they’re blown away by all that’s here,” she said. “It’s cozy, yet expansive. With new merchandise arriving daily, you can go in and expect the unexpected. It’s a shopper’s paradise.”

The mall marks the first Saturday of every month by offering seasonal themes and attractions, special sales and drawings, as well as demonstrations by vendors and special guests. Visitors also will want to be on hand for one-day-only sales. “First Saturdays are just something special with vendors offering discounts and sales and food vendors providing free samples of their goods,” Briggs said. “Many customers will want to fill their shopping baskets with these delicious treats.”

With approximately 65 vendors, the mall is also home to From Our House to Yours, an upscale furniture and accessories consignment boutique owned by Kimi Fancher. With 4,000 square feet of inventory to choose from, the boutique is filled to the brim with vintage as well as new furniture pieces, rugs and home accessories.

“From Our House to Yours features quality home furnishings and accessories that are gently used but built to last a lifetime,” said Fancher, who opened her boutique in 2001. “We provide a great alternative for sellers seeking to find a new home for their pieces they can no longer use. We receive new inventory daily which includes antiques, lamps, paintings, china, silver, crystal, collectibles, glassware, furniture and an eclectic array of accessories.”

The Foundry Mall reflects southern charm at its best, Terri said. “Shoppers know they’re not getting something that’s been brought in a crate. They’ll find lots of handmade items; a lot of character.”

The Foundry Mall supports the local community and nonprofit organizations and charities.

“We want the mall to be successful and provide a fun and relaxing place to shop, but we also want to give back to those in need and allow our customers a chance to participate,” Briggs said.

Whether you want to shop till you drop or contribute to a worthy cause, The Foundry Mall is the place to come for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
