Annual Events in Mauston Wisconsin
Mauston’s small-town charm includes visitor-friendly community events that both tourists and residents enjoy. The newly enhanced Riverside Park and river walk along the Lemonweir River features the Mauston Community Band on summer evenings in the band shell and old-fashioned Movies in the Park on Saturday evenings. The Greater Mauston Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the farmers market every Saturday morning and late Tuesday afternoon from May to October.
In addition, there are special events with their own unique flavors, beginning with the Mauston Pumpkin Bash. Held the second Saturday in October in Riverside Park, this signature event features pumpkin smashing catapults, pumpkin carving, costume parade and contest, trunk or treating (a combination of trick or treating and tailgating). Nearby activities that weekend include wagon rides, mazes and horseback riding (with haunted versions of each).
