Memorial Regional Health Services (MRHS) is a nonprofit organization jointly governed by Memorial and BJC HealthCare. It is the parent organization of Memorial Hospital Belleville, Memorial Hospital East, Memorial Care Center, Memorial Medical Group and Memorial Foundation.

Memorial Hospital Belleville is a 216-bed acute care MAGNET designated hospital offering emergency and critical care services as well as medical, surgical and obstetrics along with a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services. It was recently recognized as Top 10 percent in the Nation for General Surgery.

Also located on the Belleville campus, The Orthopedic and Neurosciences Center offers a comprehensive rehabilitation program that includes physical, occupational, speech and hand therapy. Memorial also operates Belleville Health and Sports Center, a fitness facility located in west Belleville.

Memorial Hospital East is a 94-all private bed hospital located in Shiloh, Illinois. Memorial Hospital East offers a 24/7 emergency department, medical, surgical and diagnostic services including cardiac catheterization, imaging and laboratory. The Family Care Birthing Center features 16 spacious LDRP suites, two dedicated c-section rooms and 24/7 neonatology coverage.

Memorial Care Center is an 82-bed award winning skilled rehab nursing facility located adjacent to Memorial Hospital Belleville. In addition, the Memorial Medical Group is a multi-disciplinary group with 82 providers located in 38 offices throughout 10 communities in Southwest Illinois.

Memorial Regional Health Services employs over 2,400 full- and part-time employees and ranks among the top employers in St. Clair and Madison Counties.

HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital maintains a Gold Seal of approval from the The Joint Commission – the nations’s preeminent hospital accreditation body. The hospital was founded by the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis over 140 years ago.
