Churches in Pekin, Illinois

Blessed with more than 50 churches practicing many different faiths, the Pekin community has a strong, rooted tradition of spirituality. The beautiful architecture of the church buildings – some of which date back over 100 years – is as diverse as the number of denominations, ensuring numerous opportunities for celebrating spiritual traditions.

A special non-denominational church service is held in Mineral Springs Park every year in conjunction with the Pekin Marigold Festival.

The Pekin area is also home to several faith-based schools, covering all grade levels from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
