A Little About Nashville

The Donelson and Hermitage communities are located east of downtown Metropolitan Nashville-Davidson County along the I-40 corridor. We are proud to be a part of Nashville, a prospering city that offers a high quality of living in a low-cost business environment. The state of Tennessee has no personal income tax and the city of Nashville has a low overall tax burden.

Nashville-Davidson County has a consolidated city-county government. Davidson County is highly urbanized with extensive residential areas, a vibrant downtown and advanced infrastructure.

In 2017, Forbes ranked Nashville as the third best big city for jobs in the U.S. and seventh on the list of the top 25 fastest growing cities of 2018. U.S News & World Reports listed Nashville as #15 in 2019 of Best Places to Live of Country’s top 125 largest Metropolitan areas.

Nashville has live music of multiple genres being performed every night across the city. With more than 180 recording studios, and 5,000 working musicians, Nashville is clearly “Music City.”

Donelson-Hermitage is home to several institute of higher education including Nashville State Community College, Remington College, Daymar and South College. Nashville is the center for the health care, music, publishing, banking and transportation industries and home to the headquarters of Bridgestone, HCA, Lifeway and Universal Music Group.

Located in the Donelson community, the Nashville International Airport is served by 12 airlines and three cargo carriers. With more than 14.1 million passengers visiting each year, the airport serves 450 flights daily to more than 50 nonstop markets.
