June – Craft Beer Festival
This is an opportunity for craft beer lovers to compare their favorite brews with similar brews and to find new favorites. Music, food and quality beer. This event is held in June. The Grayslake Chamber and Exchange Club raise money for scholarship from this event.

June – Annual Arts Festival
The Grayslake Arts Festival, a festival celebrating fine arts and music, is held in June of each year in historic downtown Grayslake. A variety of enter­tainment and refreshments are enjoyed by more than 5,000 visitors throughout the day. Bring the family to this popular annual event and have a great time. New this year was a wine tasting.

July – Annual 5K Family Fun Run
The 5K Family Fun Run, sponsored by the Chamber, is a popular event for families, as well as serious runners. This event is held each July.

August – Color Aloft Balloon Festival
Last year, more than 4,000 people attended this event hosted by the Village of Grayslake, Grayslake Chamber and Grayslake Park District. The event includes a launch as well as a night glow, combined with family activities and music onstage.

August – Grayslake Summer Days Festival
This popular family festival sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce is held the third weekend in August. Major events throughout the festival include a parade, well-known entertainers, carnival rides, bingo, games, a wide variety of food, business booths and activities for the entire family.

October – Business Trick-Or-Treating
Held the Saturday before Halloween, this event provides a safe environment for kids to trick-or-treat at local businesses.

November – Center Street Tree Lighting
Every year during the holiday season, the Chamber decorates the trees in the downtown business district with lights.
