On behalf of the board of directors, volunteers and staff of the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, it’s my pleasure to present you with our 2018 Community Guide and Business Directory.
Fresno is the heart of California’s Central Valley, and we at the Chamber take the responsibility of promoting our vibrant and prosperous business community seriously. It’s been our mission since 1885 to serve as the conduit that helps industry grow in our community, and we continue to seek new ways to deliver valuable programming and outstanding value.
2018 finds Fresno entering a unique time in its history. As we drive down Fulton Street downtown for the first time in 54 years, we’re able to see the amazing transformation beginning in the heart of our city. Thanks to the hard work of Mayor Lee Brand, former Mayor Ashley Swearengin, city staff, our friends at the Fresno County EDC and many others, we’ll see game-changing new distribution centers for Ulta and Amazon as jobs continue to be a primary focus of city leadership. As always, the Fresno Chamber of Commerce is pleased to be a part of Fresno’s revival.
I urge you to take a walk through our downtown and see the revitalization occurring there each day. Visit the unique shops and entertainment options in the Tower District, or become part of the Red Wave at a Fresno State football game. Grab a bite at one of our city’s amazing restaurants, or find yourself connected to the world through a flight from Fresno-Yosemite International Airport. And of course, take a bite of the world-class agriculture grown in our area. Fresno feeds the world, and we’re proud of it.
As you can see, our business here at the Fresno Chamber IS business, and business (and Fresno) is booming! Be sure to take part in all that our community has to offer, and help us continue to move the Central Valley forward.
Welcome to Fresno!
