Glendale Heights is served by three elementary school districts and the highly respected Glenbard Township High School District 87.

The three elementary school districts that serve Glendale Heights residents are:

  • Marquardt School District 15 – covering the eastern part of Glendale Heights, this district consists of four elementary schools (Black Hawk, G. Stanley Hall, Charles G. Reskin and Winnebago), as well as one middle school (Marquardt).
  • Queen Bee School District 16 – covering the western part of Glendale Heights, this district consists of two kindergarten through third-grade schools (Glen Hill Primary and Pheasant Ridge Primary), one intermediate school for grades four and five (Americana Intermediate) and one middle school (Glenside).
  • Glen Ellyn School District 41 – covering the southern part of Glendale Heights, this district consists of four elementary schools (Churchill, Forest Glen, Franklin and Lincoln) as well as one middle school (Hadley).

Glenbard Township High School District 87 serves all of the primary school students from Glendale Heights with four high schools. Glendale Heights residents are divided between three of District 87’s schools with community members attending Glenbard East, Glenbard North or Glenbard West. This outstanding school district is continuously rated not just one of the best in Illinois, but also one of the best in the nation. w
