Hilton Head Regional Healthcare consists of two hospitals and two outpatient centers located in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Hilton Head Hospital is a 93-bed facility. Coastal Carolina Hospital is a 41-bed facility located in Hardeeville. The Bluffton Medical Campus is 60,000-square-foot outpatient center located in greater Bluffton and the Bluffton-Okatie Outpatient Center is located in Okatie adjacent to Sun City Hilton Head.
Hilton Head Hospital is a 93-bed acute care hospital located at 25 Hospital Center Boulevard on Hilton Head Island. Opened in 1974, HHH serves Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Okatie and surrounding counties through its team of over 600 employees, 100 physicians and 200 volunteers. The hospital provides a continuum of services through its centers and programs, including cardiac care open heart surgery, a nationally accredited breast health center, spine surgery, orthopedic care, obstetrics/gynecology, gastroenterology, surgical services, physical rehabilitation and wellness. The hospital’s cancer care program is affiliated with the Medical University of South Carolina Hollings Cancer Center. Hilton Head Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest hospital accreditation agency.
Coastal Carolina Hospital is a 41-bed acute care hospital located at the intersection of Interstate 95 and Highway 278 in Hardeeville. The hospital has been serving the medical and healthcare needs of Jasper and Beaufort counties since November 2004. The hospital provides acute care services including: intensive care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, surgical services, outpatient physical rehabilitation, hyperbarics, wound healing, stroke care and 24-hour emergency treatment. Coastal Carolina Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission.
Hilton Head Regional Healthcare Bluffton Medical Campus is a 60,000-square-foot outpatient center providing a range of outpatient diagnostic services and serves as the new home for the Hilton Head Hospital’s nationally accredited Breast Health Center. The center also houses a clinical labroatory collection center, anticoagulation clinic, specialty physician practices and Coastal Carolina Hospital’s Center for Hyperbarics and Wound Healing.
Beaufort Memorial Hospital, opened in 1944, is a 197-bed acute care hospital and regional referral center. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, the not-for-profit medical center has a medical staff of more than 150 board-certified or board-eligible physicians.
