Taxes
New Enterprise residents should go to the Enterprise Courthouse to file for homestead exemption on property. Both city and county property taxes are based on property owned Oct. 1 of each year. Bills are mailed to citizens on Oct. 1 and are delinquent if not paid by Dec. 31 of the same year.

Motor Vehicle Registration
A fee is charged and required documentation for first-time applicants include: birth certificate, original social security card and, if school age, enrollment certification from your school. License renewals are processed at the Enterprise Courthouse for Enterprise citizens. Active duty military are exempt but not their dependents.

Consult local veterinarians. Proof of current yearly rabies vaccination is required for all dogs and cats. All dogs inside the city limits should be leashed, enclosed or under the control of a competent person at all times.
