Queen of the Valley Medical Center is a 191-bed acute care facility founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. The Queen is the largest healthcare facility and one of the largest employers in Napa County. Services provided include: a Regional Heart Center, a Regional Orthopaedic Center, a Regional Cancer Center approved with commendations by the American College of Surgeons, a Women’s Center, maternity and infant care, inpatient and outpatient minimally invasive surgery, occupational health, imaging center and a full-service emergency department, among many other specialty services.

Provides a full range of outpatient healthcare services to more than 40,000 Kaiser Permanente members in Napa County. With about 50 physicians and more than 175 healthcare professionals on-site, the clinic offers primary care for adults and children including obstetrics, gynecology, mammography, allergy, behavioral health, dermatology, dietary, audiology, health education, laboratory, occupational medicine, ophthalmology, optical sales, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, plastic surgery and radiology services. Kaiser Permanente members residing in Napa receive inpatient hospital services at Kaiser Permanente’s Medical Centers in nearby Vallejo and Vacaville.

Napa State Hospital (NSH) is a 24-hour psychiatric inpatient hospital under the Department of Mental Health. NSH began providing services in 1875 and is the oldest of the four state hospitals. The hospital consists of 1,500 acres at the edge of the city of Napa in Napa County. NSH is licensed as an acute psychiatric hospital with distinct parts licensed to provide skilled nursing and intermediate levels of care. The hospital has a bed capacity of 1,362 beds, and currently has approximately 2,300 employees.

Community Health Clinic Ole’ is the only nonprofit community health center in Napa County, providing high-quality, affordable medical and dental care for Napa County residents. Our programs include Sister Ann Dental Clinic, Healthy Moms and Babies, Napa Obstetrics and Gynecology Medical Group. Patients are charged for services on a sliding fee scale, based on family income. Clinic Ole’ also accepts Medi-Cal, Medicare, CMSP and many other forms of insurance.
