On behalf of the Skokie Chamber of Commerce & Industry, its 600-plus member businesses and our board of directors, I am very pleased to introduce the 2020 Skokie Community Guide & Business Directory. There is a lot to showcase and be proud of in our community. The Village of Skokie is strong and vibrant. The Village of Skokie has a solid industrial, manufacturing and technology presence, along with a retail mix that draws people into the community from throughout the metropolitan area. This strong business presence contributes to the tax base of the village, keeping residential taxes low for our 68,000 residents.

This growth speaks to how the Village of Skokie welcomes new businesses and business ventures. The Skokie Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been an active advocate for businesses on the North Shore for over 94 years.
