Through response to calls and programs that foster community interaction, the men and women of the department help make day-to-day life in Lisle a safe place to live, work and play.

The Lisle-Woodridge Fire District serves the Village of Lisle, a large portion of the Village of Woodridge and some unincorporated areas of DuPage County, providing fire protection, emergency medical and related services to approximately 70,000 residents over 25 square miles. Operating independent of the Village of Lisle, the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District is an ISO Class 1 fire district, the highest rating awarded by the Insurance Services Office. A property owner’s insurance premiums are lower as a result of this rating.
