Apex Arts Council

Apex Arts Council hosts a variety of year-round events. Get people connected in the true meaning of arts and enjoy art shows, dancing, photography and dancing.

Apex Farmers Market

Grab your friends and family and try homegrown, fresh fruits and vegetables. Every Saturday morning during the summer visitors can try baked goods, salsas, jams, cheeses, honey and crafts.

Christmas on Salem Street

Join Santa and Mrs. Claus in Downtown Apex. Gather a group and see the Lighting of the Apex Christmas Tree by the Apex Mayor, face painting, Christmas cookie decorating, sidewalk carolers, Christmas train ride and make your own ornament.

Apex PeakFest

Apex Peakfest is hosting their 39th annual event. Salem Street in historic downtown Apex has a variety of over 22,000 food vendors, live entertainment, jewelry and poetry. Children can also have loads of fun at the children’s corner.

Peak City Pig Fest

Gather your friends and family and enjoy a BBQ festival. Take part in live music, a beer garden, food and even pig races. Sponsored by Kansas City Barbecue Society, 48 teams will cook chicken, pork or brisket in which the winner will received a prize of over $12,000.

Apex Music Festival

Blues, rock, soul, jazz and more fill Salem Street in Apex’s annual pub crawl. The noteworthy experience is geared toward adults as a much-needed night out, with beer gardens, wine rooms and live music. The party is a fundraiser for the Apex Downtown Business Association.

Halle Cultural Arts Center

Just North of Salem Street in Historic downtown Apex, features many amenities that include one studio classroom, three galleries, 150 theater seats, full dressing rooms and a catering kitchen. The facility hosts concerts, art classes, performing arts classes and movies.

Parks & Recreational

Apex community offers martial arts, fitness, youth sports clinics and tennis lessons. Over 11 miles of greenway is featured in the Town of Apex. The greenways include Beaver Creek, Haddon Hall, Apex Natural Park Paved Trails, Community Lake Trial and Community Park Natural Trails. Apex plans to development new greenways in the near future.

Rodgers Family Skate Plaza at Trackside

Trackside is a 13,000-square-foot, four tiered skate park. Rodgers Skate Park features two rail lines that are go through downtown Apex. The community can enjoy a relaxing place to do tricks and skate around the track.

Trick or Treat on Salem Street

Mark your calendars for a fun filled day. Sponsored by the Apex Downtown Business Association children can dress in their favorite costumes and receive candy from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
