Big Bend: Join the community on August 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. for games, raffles, prizes and fun. Presented by the Big Bend Police Department and held at Big Bend Village Park, Riverside Drive, Big Bend.

Kids ages 4-7 can enroll in a fun, safety awareness program held each August. Sponsored by Muskego Woman’s Club, Muskego Police Department, Muskego Parks and Recreation Department, St. Paul’s Lutheran School and the Muskego-Norway School District, this program covers all aspects of safety, including road and pedestrian safety, fire protection, poison prevention, animal safety and stranger awareness. Organized by the Muskego Chamber of Commerce, Muskego businesses kick off the holidays the Saturday after Thanksgiving with specials, discounts, refreshments and family activities. Begin at 10 a.m. with the Tree Lighting and Visits with Santa at the Muskego Public Library and travel along Janesville Road to various locations. Play Find the Jingle Bell (Jumbo Jingle Bell Hunt) and vote for Best Decorated Christmas Tree.
