Forty fabulous acres are brimming with peaches, figs, loquats, blueberries, blackberries, lemons and satsumas. Don’t miss the October Harvest festival – persimmons are at their peak. Downtown Tomball
Head to the Railroad Depot Plaza to celebrate the lively spirit of Tomball. Events and festivals fill the calendar year-round. Second Saturday at the Depot showcases arts, music and entertainment for the whole family. Bring picnic baskets and lawn chairs to the monthly outdoor movie. Birdwatching
Birdwatching abounds in and around Tomball, with some of the best locations in the nation. Checkout the Katy Prairie Conservancy, Sheldon Lake State Park, Lake Jackson and the expansive Sam Houston National Forest. Discover coastal species just a short drive south in the various parks and islands in the Gulf of Mexico.
It’s restful and perfect for camping, hiking, picnics and barbecues. The tranquility of Kleb Woods Nature Center is a birdwatcher’s paradise too. Relax and observe colorful butterflies at the wildflower garden. Visitors enjoy nature programs and scenic views of wetlands
