The Woodlands Waterway
Stroll along the Woodlands Waterway located in the downtown area, which connects The Woodlands mall, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, The Woodlands Marriott Hotel & Convention Center and the Waterway Square. Experience the waterway up close in a kayak on the Riva Row Boat House.

The Woodlands Town Center Trolley
Hop on the Town Center Trolley, available seven days weeks and free of charge for a ride to popular retail, entertainment and office locations. Destinations on this 4.1-mile route include Hughes Landing, Market Street, Waterway Square, The Woodlands Mall, and Restaurant Row. The Woodlands Express Park and Ride
Looking for a convenient and economical way to commute? The Woodlands Express Park and Ride offers stops at the Texas Medical Center, Greenway Plaza and the Central Business District of Houston. Bus services are available Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Waterway Square
Located in the Center of Woodlands, the one-acre public plaza boasts creative sculptures and art, beautiful green spaces and distinctive water features with shows choreographed to lights and music and an interactive water feature for children (be sure to bring their bathing suits!). The Town Center Trolley stops at Waterway Square.

The Ice Rink at the Woodlands Town Center
Grab your ice skates this holiday season and head down to Woodlands Town Center for skating fun. This 21,000-square-foot multipurpose facility features skating with color lights, music, concessions and tables for birthday parties. Opening on Nov. 16, 2019, the rink will operate seven days a week through Jan. 20, 2020. Check the website for schedules and hours.

Riva Row Boat House and Lakes Edge Boat House
Looking for a way to stay cool year-round, with no reservations necessary? Paddle and kayak around town at the Riva Row Boat house and see the beautiful views on the Woodlands Waterway from a different perspective. Lakes Edge Boat House is the newest facility that offers kayak rentals next to Restaurant Row, Whole Foods and the state-of-the-art boardwalk along the lake.

Market Street
There’s plenty to see and do at this award-winning town center featuring a variety of restaurants, luxury retail, a boutique hotel and entertainment. This mixed-use master-planned community is bound by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan’s Mill Road and Six Pines Drive, just across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

The Woodlands Mall
This shopping and dining destination is No matter what you are looking for the Woodlands Mall offers over 160 restaurants and shops including Macy’s, Apple, P.F. Changs and Chick-fil-A. Stay the night in a nearby hotel and explore the many cultural and entertainment attractions in the area.

Hughes Landing
Centered along Lake Woodlands, Hughes Landing is a 66-acre mixed-use development with a premier “lifestyle intersection,” featuring a variety of restaurants, retailers, entertainment venues, multiple office buildings, One Lakes Edge upscale multifamily residences and an Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel for business and leisure travelers.

Town Green Park
Enjoy 4 acres of fun at Town Green Park, the 100th park built in The Woodlands. Relax, have a picnic or play on the Great Lawn, a greenspace nearly as long as two football fields, or stroll through a labyrinth filled with life-sized characters from Aesop’s Fables. The park also boasts an entertainment area, making it an ideal venue for events throughout the year, including the Lighting of the Doves during the winter holidays and the Red, Hot and Blue Fourth of July festival.

Enjoy the beautiful 12,000 acres of forests on both sides of the creek at the Spring Creek Greenway. This preservation area features a nature center, a botanic garden, fishing lakes, a golf course, several parks and trails that wind through Montgomery and Harris counties. Hiking, horseback riding, bicycling, canoeing, kayaking and fishing are popular activities.

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
Named in honor of Cynthia Woods Mitchell, the wife of The Woodlands’ founder, this center for the performing arts hosts more than 60 events throughout the year including a variety of symphonies, ballets and operas. Located on the banks of The Woodlands Waterway, the outdoor venue offers a wide selection of rock, country music, jazz, opera and classical music.

Parks and Recreation
Nature lovers, bikers, runner, walkers and families can enjoy over 200 miles of pathways and 140 parks. Explore the lakes and ponds, tennis courts, pavilions, swimming pools and playgrounds.
