Turlock has 24 community and neighborhood parks for your enjoyment; providing fun and safe recreational locations for relaxing, sports and picnics.
AQUATIC PLAYGROUNDS
The city of Turlock offers two aquatic playgrounds: Broadway Park, 501 N. Broadway and Columbia Park, 600 Columbia (adjacent to the swimming pool). The aquatic playgrounds are open daily, April 1–September 30, from 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
BMX BIKE PARK
4013 N. Walnut Ave.
The BMX Bike Park requires all users to wear safety helmets, knee pads and elbow pads. This is an unsupervised facility, open year round. Hours: Monday–Friday 3:45 p.m. – sunset*, Saturday–Sunday 8 a.m. – sunset* and school recess and holidays 8 a.m. – sunset*. *weather permitting
CRANE PARK
1555 E. Canal Dr.
Crane Park is one of the city’s oldest and most popular parks. Offering large shade trees, a playground area, two tennis courts, 10 horseshoe pits, a restroom facility, a half-court basketball area and several picnic areas available for reservation.
DONNELLY PARK
600 Pedras Rd.
Donnelly Park, the city’s premier community park, maintains hundreds of beautiful trees, providing a very shady environment for family gatherings and a comfortable haven during the summer heat. The park offers three covered picnic sites that can be reserved for private functions, two restroom facilities and two playground areas.
PEDRETTI PARK
2400 N. Tegner Rd.
This facility includes four softball fields, a hardball field, three grass volleyball courts, concession stand, covered bleachers, drinking fountains, picnic areas, a large covered picnic area that can be reserved for special events, fully accessible child playground area and restroom facilities located among hundreds of shade trees.
SKATE PARK
250 Starr Ave.
The Skate Park is unsupervised and open year round from 6 a.m.–10 p.m., requires all users to wear safety helmets, kneepads and elbow pads.
SUNNYVIEW DOG PARK
500 S. Berkeley Ave.
The Dog Park is approximately 1.5 acres and open daily from dawn to dusk. It offers shade trees, benches, receptacles, dog drinking fountain, dog pot stations and staging areas that are fenced for small and large dogs. Rules for the Dog Park are posted within the park.
TURLOCK REGIONAL SPORTS COMPLEX
4545 N. Kilroy
This 30-acre complex includes nine soccer fields, restroom facility, two softball diamonds, outdoor amphitheater and picnic and playground areas. The complex is bordered on the east and west sides by two neighborhood parks that include two sand volleyball courts, playground areas, picnic areas and a half-court basketball court.
