Village of West Dundee

West Dundee offers small-town friendliness with regional conveniences. The community’s rich heritage is showcased in the architecture of the downtown business district which offers a variety of dining, shopping and entertainment opportunities adjacent to a picturesque river walk. West Dundee is also home to Spring Hill Mall, a regional mall with several national chain department stores and numerous specialty shops, and Oakview Corporate Park, home to Leafs Ice Center.

West Dundee is in the midst of a renaissance.

Spring Hill Mall has begun a transformation to meet modern consumer tastes, with a more than $40 million reinvestment plan that will see a “lifestyle” wing anchored by a state-of-the-art Cinemark eight-screen theater, on-trend retailers such as H & M and new dining options.

The historic downtown, crown jewel of the village, is seeing significant reinvestment in its building stock with authentic, period-correct façade restorations and exciting new businesses, including the RocHaus, an intimate live music venue.

Access to colleges and universities, affordable housing and the availability of quality medical facilities provide West Dundee residents and businesses amenities and services to promote a well-qualified work force and a favorable way of living within the community.

The village sponsors a number of annual events, including Concerts in the Park during the months of June and July, Heritage Fest, a large three-day outdoor festival in mid-September, the West Dundee Halloween Party in October, and Dickens in Dundee, a Victorian-themed kick-off to the holiday season that takes place the first weekend in December.

A free business promotion service is available to West Dundee businesses, through which a customized business listing, offers, news and more can be made available to customers.
