The New Berlin Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau has been strengthening the bonds of business and community since 1959. Over the past 60 years, we have worked tirelessly to advance the value of business and community, believing that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. We believe that having a vibrant and healthy business climate leads to a stronger, more vibrant community.
Our mission is simple: “We are an organization that supports our business community. We provide resources for our members to stimulate their growth and make our business community a better place to conduct business.”
Our vision is that the chamber is a recognizable and sought-after resource for business in the New Berlin community.
“We serve as the principle advocate of the community and its businesses, acting as the catalyst in promoting the economic development of the New Berlin City area, stimulating jobs and improving the quality of life.”
The New Berlin Chamber of Commerce is an organization of businesses bound with a common interest and ongoing investment in the prosperity of the City of New Berlin.
The Chamber, through an effective Plan of Action, works to enhance the profitability of its members and encourages them to contribute to the continued development of a quality community while marketing the City of New Berlin.
To accomplish this, the Chamber, as the representative of the business community, works closely with the school district and the city administration in an atmosphere of cooperation and open communication. Furthermore, the NBCC&VB is actively involved in the community to promote the benefits of working and living in New Berlin.
The Chamber is a voluntary organization of the business and professional community. The area’s economic well-being directly relates to the caliber of work done by the Chamber.
This nonprofit organization unites hundreds of business and professional firms, creating a unique central agency working to improve business and the quality of life by building a better economy. Small businesses interested in prospering and creating a healthy environment in which to conduct business comprise more than 95 percent of our membership.
Most importantly, the Chamber is people – people just like you. People who realize that through the Chamber they can accomplish collectively what no one of them can do individually. The strength of the Chamber lies in attracting the greatest number of members, thus creating a pool of resources from which to draw ideas, energy and finances.
We work to keep our members apprised of important issues, legislative changes, and economic trends with the potential to impact our local economy. We provide valuable information and resources to help our members to grow and prosper. We are rolling out a series of webinars and business workshops in addition to our Business Owners Round Table to help our members find answers to their most pressing questions.
We will continue to look for long-term solutions to issues like transportation and maintaining an adequate talent pipeline to meet growing employment needs.
Working together we will continue making New Berlin a great place to live, learn, work, play, and operate a business.
From the board of directors and the entire membership, thank you and welcome to New Berlin!
