The Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce is honored to be recognized as being in the top one percent in the nation with 5-star accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Out of almost 8,000 chambers in the U.S., there are only 102 who have earned the 5-star ranking. Accreditation with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the only program of its kind that defines excellence in chamber planning and recognizes chambers for outstanding contributions toward positive change in their communities. This program facilitates continuing excellence in the chamber industry and fosters a pro-business environment across America.
The Edmond Chamber plays an integral role in growing and supporting local business. Our impact on the community is reflected through our membership with nearly 1,000 members. The Chamber provides numerous opportunities and resources that include creating new relationships, growing market share, educational programs and gaining access to new customers. We also represent members’ interests on a local, regional and national level.
Our partnerships enable the Chamber to accomplish together what no business is able to accomplish alone. Our mission, “The Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce is the voice for business. Welcome from the Chairwoman
Exactly 10 years ago, I had the honor of serving as the 2009 Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce Chairwoman. Now, a decade later, I’m still here doing what I love and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as your Chairwoman once again. This year is going to be great!
Over the past 10 years, I’ve seen growth unlike any other. It seems like new businesses are opening their doors every day and I can’t help but credit the chamber for being a part of that growth. The Edmond Chamber has helped foster a community of businesses that support one another and help each other to succeed. Their resources, programs and advocacy efforts allow businesses to thrive in our community. It makes me so proud to be part of this organization.
We have worked hard to bring value to the Chamber’s programs and create amazing networking opportunities for our members. I encourage you to get involved with the Chamber and make the most of your membership.
