Wheaton Mayor Welcome
For the last 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Mayor of Wheaton. And as I look back even further, to my time as a Councilman, Wheaton Park District Commissioner, and President of the Wheaton Chamber and Downtown Wheaton Association, I can truly say I have enjoyed every minute.
The ribbon cuttings, the parades, the visits to churches and schools – it’s all been an absolute honor. I’ve loved learning about our community while hosting Chat with the Mayor and I’m thankful for the dear memories that were created while attending events that are steeped in Wheaton tradition.
The Wheaton business community is an integral part of the city and our Chamber of Commerce serves an important role in connecting us all. Our local businesses make our not-so-small city feel like a close-knit family.
As we look towards the future, I know the city will continue to see success with newly elected Mayor Suess and the wonderful council members that are dedicating their time to make Wheaton the best it can be. And our city staff’s attention to detail helps in keeping Wheaton the special place it is.
Kathleen and I are proud to call Wheaton home and we thank you for all your support and friendship over the years. Take care everyone, and we’ll see you around town!
