Where is DuBois PA
The Greater DuBois Area is located where Clearfield, Jefferson and Elk Counties meet, and deep forests join major transportation routes.
DuBois provides for three modes of transportation, making access to the area quick and convenient. Strategically located along several federal and state roads, DuBois can be reached via Interstate 80 at exits 97 and 101, Route 322, and Route 219, which is part of Continental 1, a multi-state, bi-national transportation corridor supported in part by the Greater DuBois Economic Development Alliance. DuFast Transit offers inexpensive local bus service to the area, while the ATA serves a six-county region.
The railroad has played a large role in DuBois’ history, and still provides for much freight service. The Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad serves area businesses, with many stops along available warehouse and commercial land.
The DuBois-Jefferson Regional Airport, which opened in 1960 and located near Falls Creek, offers convenience to travelers for business or pleasure as well as carrying airfreight.
