Where is Lebanon

Lebanon is the largest of the Upper Valley communities with approximately 13,500 people – and the only city – in the Upper Valley. It serves as the core shopping area for a regional population of between 30,000 and 40,000, having both a downtown (Lebanon) and an area of commerce (West Lebanon) just off I-89. On the New Hampshire side of the Connecticut River, Lebanon is bordered by the towns of Enfield, Plainfield and Hanover (home to Dartmouth College). On the Vermont side of the river is the Town of Hartford, which includes the Village of White River Junction.

Lebanon is truly at the Crossroads of Northern New England with Interstates 89 and 91 intersecting in White River Junction. These major highways provide easy access to and from the Upper Valley, with Boston just two hours away by car, Montreal three hours and New York City five hours.
