Texas Children’s Hospital

Texas Children’s Hospital the Woodlands brings expert pediatric care closer than ever before. The hospital provides North Harris County, The Woodlands and beyond with trusted, expert pediatric care coupled with a convenient and accessible location for area families. The Woodlands campus offers outpatient care for more than 25 pediatric subspecialties, inpatient services – including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, and a 24/7 emergency center staffed by dedicated pediatric emergency medicine physicians.

The team at Texas Children’s Hospital the Woodlands is continually assessing the community’s needs. As a result, this year, the hospital expanded its capacity, adding 14 acute care beds taking the hospital’s total licensed bed count to 74. In addition, the hospital welcomed its first therapy dog. Cohen, a 19-month-old golden doodle/golden retriever mix, is part of Texas Children’s Pawsitive Play Program designed to enhance the emotional well-being of patients and families. Cohen provides support to those who may have trouble coping with a hospital stay, new diagnosis or certain medical procedures at Texas Children’s Hospital the Woodlands.

Houston Methodist the Woodlands Hospital

As Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital celebrates its second year of providing leading medicine to families in Montgomery County and the northern Houston region, they will begin a phase 2 construction plan – a $240 million expansion to meet the needs of the community. The new construction, which starts in late September 2019, will include a 100-bed patient tower, focused on medical/surgical and women’s areas. The extensive development will also add 10 new operating rooms and expand the hospital’s endoscopy center, heart center, emergency center and diagnostic imaging, which will offer an enhanced neuro-diagnostic and interventional center.

Houston Methodist Comprehensive Care Center, at Interstate 45 and League Line Road in Conroe, provides orthopedics and sports medicine, physical therapy, cardiology and other specialties to families in northern Montgomery County.

Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center, at FM 1488 and Kuykendahl Road in The Woodlands, offers a full spectrum of emergency medical services for all ages as well as eight large, private rooms, X-ray, 64-slice CT scanner and ultrasound.

Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center

Caring for the comprehensive medical needs of The Woodlands community and beyond, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center is a 397-bed facility featuring private patient rooms, with a medical staff of more than 1,150 affiliated physicians and 2,500 employees.
