Our Mission Statement
The role of the Bensenville Chamber of Commerce shall be to encourage businesses to work together for their collective best interests and that of the Bensenville community and to continue to project a positive image for the Village of Bensenville.
The Bensenville Chamber of Commerce has a motto: IN Business FOR Business.
Our members and our board of directors work diligently to live up to that motto.
We continue to add new members and now have record levels of membership. We welcome and support new businesses with ribbon cuttings and grand openings. We have hosted numerous local and multi-chamber networking events so that our members can showcase their business, products and services to a wide audience.
Bensenville stands at the crossroads of American business. Our proximity to air, train and trucking facilities gives businesses access to expanding markets. We have developed regional collaborative relationships with other chambers and have hosted joint functions, lunches, seminars and networking events with the Franklin Park, Schiller Park, River Grove, DesPlaines, Rosemont, Villa Park, Melrose Park, Addison and Wood Dale chambers.
Thanks to our partnerships, and our co-operative working relationships with other villages, chambers and agencies, we are expanding opportunities for our members.
Businesses need customers. By expanding our reach, we are expanding the marketplace; we want that to translate into increased market share and profitability for our members.
Bensenville also stands at the crossroads of change. The construction of the Elgin-O’Hare Western Access will bring unprecedented opportunity to our region. We want our members to be fully informed of those opportunities and, be poised to take advantage of this gateway to new markets, goods and customers.
We also work closely with our partners in county and state government. We want our businesses to have the most updated information on new programs, new regulations and new opportunities.
The Chamber has been aggressive in our outreach to our business communities. We have offered participation in seminars, forums and open houses, covering everything from the Affordable Care Act, state grants for worker training and low-cost business loans.
This year we will continue that outreach with more networking opportunities, business-to-business expos, a regional job fair and new series of targeted business roundtables.
