The faith community in the St. Charles County region has a rich Catholic tradition dating back to its earliest French settlers. But it also features congregations representing a wide variety of denominations and beliefs. Lutheran, Churches of Christ, Presbyterian, Baptist, Methodist and others of the Christian belief are represented, and there are synagogues in neighboring communities in St. Louis County for those of the Jewish faith.
