Treasure Coast Attractive for Business

Capitalizing on an already strong business climate, ABC Home Medical Supply, Inc., a national supplier of specialty urology supplies, announced it will be locating its corporate headquarters to St. Lucie County.

ABC Medical was attracted to the area, thanks to its cost of living, quality of life and workforce availability. Along with the new location, the company plans to create 35 new jobs in the area. ABC Medical will be expanding its 11,000-square-foot site.

“ABC Medical is one of the nation’s leading urological supply providers, and serves as a one-stop shop with a comprehensive line of medical supplies and service that includes urological, ostomy, incontinence and wound care supplies,” said Maria Flynn, human resources manager at ABC Medical. “The ABC Medical team is the first and only urology supply provider in the industry committed to adaptive sports, believing we can and will make a difference not only in our athletic communities, but transfer our knowledge to all our patients and communities who are in need of urological, ostomy and incontinence supplies and services.”

ABC stands for adapt, believe and compete:

Adapt – ABC Medical adapted to the ever changing medical supply industry by investing in its people and systems to provide exceptional service, programs and products despite constant reimbursement pressures and challenges.

Believe – ABC Medical operates under the belief that without its customers, ABC Medical does not exist. Each customer is an important member of the ABC Family and deserves care, compassion and support every day, every conversation and in every package the company ships.

Compete – ABC Medical will compete endlessly, not only in providing exceptional service, but in supporting the communities they serve. Its competitive spirit shines through its support of adaptive sports and adaptive activities throughout the U.S.

By helping meet the needs of its customer base, ABC Medical ensures that it meets the company goal of “to do well by doing good.” One way the company exemplifies this is by contributing time, talent and resources to athletes and adaptive sports organizations so they can continue to lead a healthy, active life. In fact, the company supports over 150 adaptive sports annually, as well as hundreds of national and local adaptive athletic organizations and clinics.

With an eye on the future, the TAMCO Group broke ground on the Tradition Center for Commerce in September 2018. The new 400,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility will consolidate the company’s operations and expand its workforce. At least 50 new jobs are expected to be added thanks to the center of commerce.
