There are many opportunities to become involved in service clubs of all kinds. The City of Lebanon offers Kiwanis, Masons and two Rotary Clubs, all of which work hard to raise money and provide other help for worthy community causes throughout the year.
Approximately 90 nonprofits in the area fund themselves through private donations.
For more than 35 years, the Granite United Way has served Vermont and New Hampshire communities. This organization works to advance the common good and improve the quality of life for community residents by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support an individual and a family through retirement and the skills and knowledge to make choices that ensure a healthy future. UVUW performs community assessments, raises resources, convenes local residents around important issues and funds programs that meet critical needs. The goal is to create long-lasting changes that prevent problems from happening in the first place.
