ABOUT US
Mesquite’s Chamber of Commerce is active, growing and working with business leaders for an even better Mesquite. Together, this unsurpassed team of (mostly) volunteers stands as the backbone of Mesquite’s community leadership and business development.
The Mesquite Chamber is a nonprofit partnership of business and professional individuals collaborating to improve the community’s quality of life and to assist in building a vibrant, growing economy.
The Chamber is run by its members, who elect a board of directors. The board sets goals and determines policies. The board chairman is the chief volunteer officer and presides over all board and membership meetings. The daily operations of the Chamber are managed by paid, professional staff.

NETWORKING: The Chamber offers almost three dozen networking opportunities each year. Examples include Business Round-up breakfasts, Membership Luncheons, Business After Business events and other special get-together where members share ideas, swap business cards and expand their influence through collaboration.
COMMUNITY INFORMATION in the form of (at least) weekly e-mail sent to members advising of events, activities and business community concerns.

HEALTH CARE: Members are eligible to sign up (individually or for the whole company) in a cooperative health care plan (call us for details).

REFERRALS: The Chamber receives requests daily from individuals and businesses needing information about goods and services in Mesquite. We send inquirers to members. In addition to receiving such in-office referrals, the Chamber Directory and Referral Guide is distributed to thousands of individuals, businesses and organizations each year, further increasing each member’s circle of influence.
PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES: Ground breakings, ribbon cuttings, hosting Business Round-up and/or Business After Business events and sponsoring community or Chamber events are ideal ways for members to market their business;
INTERNET EXPOSURE: www.mesquitechamber.com is the Chamber’s website and it’s visited daily by businesses and individuals looking for products and/or services. Of course, that’s a 24/7 service, and another way for members to increase their circle of influence in our very competitive market area.
