Mesquite Chamber of Commerce

Empowering businesses through:

  • Promoting & advertising for economic growth.
  • Education and leveraging resources.
  • Networking & partnership opportunities.

The Mesquite Chamber of Commerce will strive to be the leading resource for connecting & strengthening mesquite’s business community.

Mesquite’s Chamber of Commerce is active, growing and working with business leaders for an even better Mesquite. Together, this unsurpassed team of (mostly) volunteers stands as the backbone of Mesquite’s community leadership and business development.

The Mesquite Chamber is a nonprofit partnership of business and professional individuals collaborating to improve the community’s quality of life and to assist in building a vibrant, growing economy.

The Chamber is run by its members, who elect a board of directors. The board sets goals and determines policies. The board chairman is the chief volunteer officer and presides over all board and membership meetings. The daily operations of the Chamber are managed by paid, professional staff.

LISTING in this important, useful business tool, the Chamber’s Referral Guide, as well as on the Chamber’s website.

NETWORKING: The Chamber offers almost three dozen networking opportunities each year. Examples include Business Round-up breakfasts, Membership Luncheons, Business After Business events and other special get-together where members share ideas, swap business cards and expand their influence through collaboration.

FREE first attendance at a Chamber Membership Luncheon.

REFERRALS: The Chamber receives requests daily from individuals and businesses needing information about goods and services in Mesquite. We send inquirers to members. In addition to receiving such in-office referrals, the Chamber Directory and Referral Guide is distributed to thousands of individuals, businesses and organizations each year, further increasing each member’s circle of influence.

PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES: Ground breakings, ribbon cuttings, hosting Business Round-up and/or Business After Business events and sponsoring community or Chamber events are ideal ways for members to market their business;

INTERNET EXPOSURE: is the Chamber’s website and it’s visited daily by businesses and individuals looking for products and/or services. Of course, that’s a 24/7 service, and another way for members to increase their circle of influence in our very competitive market area.

  • Member luncheons, seminars and other events featuring motivational and educational speakers and topics of business interest are almost always free to our members.
  • As a watchdog for local, state and national legislation that effect the business community, the Chamber monitors and inform members about vital governmental issues.
  • Recognized as “the voice” of the business community, membership in the Mesquite Chamber is tantamount to having a personalized public relations firm.

Mesquite is well known for its friendly population; that includes our business community. When many others offer similar or the same goods or services, the difference can be found in the attitude and helpfulness of those working to assure good customer service. The Mesquite Chamber of Commerce strongly encourages and educate our members on providing exceptional and friendly service.

We appreciate our members’ attitude and work to keep our good reputation. Workshops and networking opportunities (business breakfasts, luncheons and after hours) are some of the ways we keep the service-oriented message in focus.
