Delivering top-notch treatment

Raritan Bay Medical Center is an essential resource for the community of Old Bridge and a vital component of a network of health care resources that together offer the most complete continuum of care in the state. The medical center recently announced the expansion of the emergency department.

New Emergency Department in Old Bridge
With 25,000 visits annually, the new state-of-the-art emergency department will provide safer, faster arrivals by adding additional ambulance bays, newly designed pediatric rooms and new on-site technology with equipment that will provide more accurate diagnostics and treatment. Additionally, it will include greater privacy and comfort and immediate patient triage. The new emergency department will encompass 20,000 square feet, which will more than double the current footprint.

In addition, the new emergency department will include 2,400 square feet imaging program, 2,800 square feet public spaces and a 4,800-square-foot new main lobby and concourse

The expansion will serve more patients with cardiac issues, stroke, trauma and other core services and will provide unprecedented access to patient care.

Diagnostic Imaging
The Raritan Bay Medical Center Diagnostic Imaging Department ensures patients have access to the latest advances for diagnosing illness and injury. Equipped with the most sophisticated tools and imaging technologies available, their team of experienced, board-certified radiologists and licensed technologists perform more than 135,000 studies each year.
