Welcome to the 2018 Community Guide from the Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce, representing a thriving community supported by its residents, businesses and local organizations. The DBR Chamber, with over 400 members and over 90 years of service to the Community, is a strong proponent of its members and local residents, offering many events and activities throughout the year where people come together and participate.

The 2018 Chamber of Commerce Community Guide is a resource to help you find many local services and events. The Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 2018 Community Guide. Networking Breakfast

Visitors are always welcome at one of the most talked about networking groups on the North Shore. Professionals meet monthly, 7:30 to 9 a.m. Call the Chamber office for fees, location and a schedule of meetings.

Health and Wellness Network

The Chamber’s Health and Wellness Network provides resources and networking for members in the health and wellness professions.

Professional Women’s Luncheon

Join Professional Women for thought-provoking conversation, hot topics for women in business, networking and lunch.

The DBR Professional Women’s Luncheon meets monthly. Call the Chamber office for additional information.

Business After Hours

This monthly networking event is hosted by member businesses and allows members and guests to network in an informal setting. Location varies each month and is complimentary. Please call the Chamber for a current schedule.

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NETWORK

DBR’s Young Professionals Group is a platform for young professionals in our community to expand and develop their business networks and create effective, trustworthy alliances amongst their peers in other specialized areas of practice.

Available at the Chamber office, these valuable publications list dining opportunities in Deerfield, Bannockburn and Riverwoods. Maps of shopping districts and parking are also included.

The annual DBR Community Guide is delivered to every home and business in the 60015 ZIP code. This comprehensive resource offers an alphabetical and categorical listing of Chamber members at no charge.

New Employee Resource Guide

The Chamber provides a resource guide specifically for new employees working in Deerfield. This guide familiarizes new employees with the benefits of working in the Deerfield community.

The EDocket

The Chamber’s monthly electronic newsletter offers members the opportunity to advertise to over 800 contacts electronically. The newsletter provides members with up-to-date information on issues affecting their businesses.

Relocation Kit

This “welcome package” is mailed to all new move-ins in the 60015 ZIP code each month. Advertising opportunities are available.

Business to Business Expo

This annual event held in July is the expo to showcase your business to other businesses.

Lifestyle Expo

This annual expo held in Deerfield is an opportunity for businesses to showcase your services to this exclusive audience. The expo is held Sept. 9 and is open to the public.

SCORE (Service Core of Retired Executives)

A nonprofit organization dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation and growth of small business. The Chicago Chapter of SCORE provides free business counseling, consulting and workshops and holds appointments in the DBR Chamber office.

Career Resource Center

The Chamber, working with business and civic leaders, hold two employment workshops each year to combat increased unemployment in our area and to help area residents secure employment. These events are held in June and October to help those in transition.

Annual Holiday Celebration

This Chamber tradition held in December is an event not to be missed. Fine dining, entertainment and a holiday raffle are enjoyed by members and guests.

College Scholarships

The DBR Chamber of Commerce offers three college scholarships to graduating high school seniors residing in the 60015 ZIP code. Details and applications are available online at www.dbrchamber.com.
