Welcome to the City of Alhambra. As the president of the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce, I’ve been privileged to see firsthand how intentional the city has been in raising the overall wellbeing of the family and business community.
In 2014, Livabillty.com selected Alhambra as No. 21 in its “Top 100 Best Places to Live” in the United States. The national website ranked the quality of life amenities of America’s small and midsized cities.
Nerdwallet.com rated Alhambra as No. 12 among the top 20 cities in California (fourth in the Los Angeles area) to raise a young family based on public school ratings, cost of home ownership and economic growth.
In 2010, the Los Angeles County of Economic Development Corporation gave Alhambra the “Most Business Friendly City in L.A. County” award (EDDY Award). It wrote, “Alhambra offers a favorable combination of housing, business, employment, and recreational opportunities.”
