The Chamber’s signature events give many opportunities for networking, sponsorships, and simply growing your business.
In late winter, we host our Annual Networking Dinner/Oyster Roast. This evening is a celebration of our dedicated members.
In April, we host our two-day Business Growth & Development Series. The first day’s topic is Employee Enrichment – Winning With People, which outlines strategies to “Win and Grow with People” as you make your growth and development a priority. You will learn practical methods and tools to implement, to help you succeed in work, in life and to help your organization.
The next day’s topic, The Basics of Modern Business, covers growth. Fountain Inn is growing, and the Chamber is passionate about equipping new and already established businesses and their owners to grow and be successful.
This day will be packed with valuable information from local business leaders that will provide you with ideas and strategies to help your business move to the next level.
In May, we present Taste INN, a community dinner down Main Street. This event highlights the restaurants/food trucks in Fountain Inn. It is an evening to enjoy a taste of what we have to offer and enjoy walking our beautiful Main Street.
We also host a Job Fair in May in partnership with the Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce and The Center For Community Services. This event helps our local business community find the right employees that fits their company.
In September, we will host the Sporting Clay Fundraising Tournament at The Clinton House.
The first Saturday in October features The Aunt Het Fall Festival, which recently celebrated 36 years in Fountain Inn. This day is full of arts & craft vendors, live music, food trucks, soap box derby, classic car show, amusement rides and other activities.
In December, our Annual Christmas Parade makes its way down the evening-lit Main Street. The parade kicks off Christmas in Fountain Inn and is followed by weeks of holiday fun including carriage rides, Gingerbread contests and visits with Santa.
Our Chamber loves helping those in need. From October until February, we are the official drop off location for One Warm Coat, a national organization that collects slightly new and new clothing for men, women and children. All the clothing donations remain in our community.
We host a monthly Woman @ Work networking breakfast on the fourth Tuesday of every month. They are sponsored by a Chamber member and highlight a community project or charity that we can donate to. It is a great way to come together to network as well as give back to our community. You don’t have to be a member to attend these meetings.
