Chamber Welcome

Grounded in a long history of service to the business and residential community, Metuchen’s Chamber was first organized in 1918 – over a century ago – and has continuously worked to balance our neighborly, small town spirit with encouraging vigorous commercial enterprise. We know how special the Metuchen area is, which is why we work so hard alongside local government, community groups, and businesses to preserve our best assets as well as continually improve and adjust to the change all around us. I am proud and humbled to serve as the Chamber’s 2021 President, and I rely upon the longtime relationships I’ve built here – through working and living in this area – to bring my best to this role.

The Chamber is aided in everything we do by a strong, skilled volunteer board of directors and professional office staff who are committed to working together to keep Metuchen a thriving and enterprising community. To that end, we host a variety of events and fundraisers each year, in addition to supporting our membership base of businesses, home-based enterprises, nonprofit organizations, and friends.

From hosting ribbon cuttings and an extremely popular Restaurant Week, to our gift certificate program, referrals, networking events, new resident welcome packets, free member notary services, and so much more, we strive to be a constant resource for our members and community. And, with our signature events, such as Metuchen Country Fair, Spring Street Fair, Town Wide Garage Sale and Cruise Nights, we are always looking to create opportunities for our businesses and organizations to interface with the public and grow their customer base.

Our offices at 323 Main Street are open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and we are always available outside those hours when needed. Stop in and meet our office staff (Wendi Richards and Jennifer Cascio) and our Executive Director (Tyreen Reuter), or contact us by phone, email or social media.
