It focuses its efforts on business/industry development and retention, addressing infrastructure and downtown development needs. As a whole, the Oelwein Chamber and Area Development believes that together they can accomplish what cannot be done alone and is in the forefront of the economic development efforts within the city. Many positive economic development projects have given Oelwein a huge boost in recent years.
