Mount Pleasant’s public schools are managed by the Racine Unified School District. The Racine Unified School District enrolls more than 21,000 students. J.I. Case High School, Westridge Elementary, Evergreen Academy Elementary and the Renaissance School are within the boundaries of Mount Pleasant.

A broad array of post-secondary education is available in nearby Kenosha and in the metropolitan Milwaukee area, including the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Marquette University and Milwaukee School of Engineering. Gateway Technical College in Racine and Kenosha and the Milwaukee Area Technical College offer a wide range of technical education programs.
